Dump the whole roll. Get the trip story back.
Drop in every photo from your trip, even the blurry ones. Sort My Roll organizes them day by day, writes the story of your trip, and gives you one link to share with the people who were there (and the people who wish they had been).
Get early access Sort My Roll isn’t open yet. Join the list and we’ll let you know when you can try it on your own trip. You took 600 photos. You’ve looked at 12 of them since.
The trip was great. Then you came home to laundry, work, and a camera roll that’s now mostly sunsets, receipts, and 14 near-identical shots of the same waterfall.
You meant to make an album. You meant to send the good ones to the group chat. You meant to write down the name of that little place with the amazing pasta.
But sorting a trip’s worth of photos is a job, and nobody wants another job right after a holiday. So the photos sit there, and the trip gets a little harder to remember every month.
How it works
- Dump the roll. Once you’re home, upload all your trip photos at once. You don’t need to pick favourites or tag anything first. Blurry, duplicate, and sideways shots are all fine.
- Tell us who’s who. We’ll ask a few quick questions: who’s in the photos, what the trip was for, anything we couldn’t figure out ourselves. It takes a couple of minutes, not an afternoon.
- Share the story. Sort My Roll builds a digital album with a page for each day of your trip and the story written in. Read it over, change anything you like, then send one link to family and friends.
What you get
- A page for every day. Your photos are grouped by day and place, in order, so the trip reads the way it happened.
- The best shots up front. Duplicates and misfires are tucked away, and you can still get to them.
- Your trip, written down. A short, readable story for each day, built from your photos and your answers. You can edit every word.
- One link to share. No app to download and no account needed for the people you send it to. They open it on their phone and scroll through your trip.
- Something you’ll actually go back to. A year from now, the trip is still there, sorted, instead of buried in your camera roll.
Prints and photo books might come later. We’re starting with something you can share the day you get home.
How we’re different
Compared with travel journaling apps
Journaling apps work if you keep up with them during the trip. Most of us don’t. Sort My Roll starts after you’re home, with the photos you already have.
Compared with photo books
Photo books are lovely, and they’re also hours of dragging pictures into templates, plus shipping. Sort My Roll does the sorting and the writing for you, and you can share it the same day.
Compared with place-by-place AI travel apps
Some apps want you to upload as you go, one stop at a time. That’s fine if you remember to. Sort My Roll is made for the whole-roll dump at the end, when you’ve finally got time to look back.
In short: no homework during the trip and no scrapbooking after it. Upload everything, answer a few questions, and share.
Pricing
Coming when we open. You’ll be able to preview a limited set of photos free, then pay per trip — with an optional yearly plan if you travel often, and a small keep-alive fee so your links stay live.
Exact prices in CAD will be posted before early access begins. Join the list and we’ll share them with you first.
Your trip is yours.
- Private by default. Nobody sees your album unless you send them the link.
- No public GPS. We use photo location data to put your trip in order. We never show exact coordinates on your shared pages.
- You choose what’s shared. Hide any photo, day, or person before you send the link.
- We don’t sell your photos. And we don’t use them to sell you anything.
Your next trip deserves better than a camera roll.
We’ll email you when Sort My Roll is ready. That’s it.
